Development of a condition-specific patient-reported outcome measure (PROM) for patients undergoing face vascularized composite tissue allotransplantation (fVCA). fVCA seeks to restore function as well as to improve the psychological and social wellbeing for patients who have experienced catastrophic injuries. There is a need for a PROM that captures important concepts for these patients to accurately measure the extent to which fVCA improve quality of life. The objective of this project is to develop and validate a PROM to measure outcomes in candidates and recipients of fVCA.
