Elizabeth “Liz” Davis is a statistician at the PROVE Center, where she applies advanced statistical and epidemiologic methods to large-scale health data. Her research is primarily focused on understanding and addressing health disparities, with a particular emphasis on urban-rural differences in cancer mortality. She is also a PhD candidate at Northeastern University, where her doctoral studies are concentrated on advanced epidemiologic methods and geospatial analysis.
Liz’s professional experience includes previous roles at Boston University/Boston Medical Center and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where she contributed to various clinical and population-based research projects. Her expertise lies in leveraging complex data to inform public health strategies and improve patient outcomes.
