Finn joined the PROVE Center as a Research Assistant and the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as a Medical Assistant in 2022 after graduating from Connecticut College with a Bachelors of Arts in American Chemistry Society Certified Chemistry and Biochemistry, concentrating in Public Health and minoring in Mathematics and Psychology. During her undergraduate education, Finn conducted research in an organic chemistry lab, taught English to students in conflict affected countries through the Paper Airplanes program, and volunteered at the Yale New Haven Health Lawrence Memorial Hospital. As part of her role at the Center, Finn works on the design and implementation of imPROVE, and on the recruitment and organization of the cold sensitivity after breast reconstruction study and the pre-versus sub-pectoral implant-based breast reconstruction randomized study. Finn is preparing to apply to medical school and hopes to practice as a plastic surgeon. Originally from Seattle, Finn enjoys getting to know Boston and New England, as well as spending time with her foster cat, Violet.
