My name is Mariem Ahmed. I graduated from Howard University with a degree in Psychology and minors in Legal Communications and Political Science. I am originally from Cairo, Egypt, and have lived in the US for a few years. I’m a Research Assistant at the PROVE Center. At Howard, I got to dive into interesting research projects with the Belonging, Learning, Identity, and Culture Lab under Dr. Davis Dixon. Also, I worked on my personal research on understanding trauma outside the Western perspective. In my free time, I like to bike, travel to new cities, and try new coffee shops.
