SEMINAR: Integrating “Real World” Remote Monitoring of Patient-Reported Outcomes Across Cancer Care

Jennifer R. Cracchiolo, MD, is an Associate Attending on the Head and Neck Service at Memorial

Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), and maintains a high-volume head and neck oncology practice

focused in oral cavity, skin and salivary gland cancers. Dr. Cracchiolo also leads the Patient-

Reported Outcomes research program in the Department of Surgery at MSK. Through National

Cancer Institute (NCI) grant-funded research, she has worked to develop systems to collect and

report clinically meaningful, patient-centered outcomes data across all of surgical oncology.

This talk will explore the integration of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) across cancer care as a

standard of practice. Drawing on ongoing research and PRO implementation efforts at MSK, the

discussion will highlight how clinically meaningful, patient-centered data can enhance surgical

oncology and inform care across the cancer continuum.
