In this talk, Dr. Chris Gibbons will discuss how the future of PRO assessment could be guided by recent advances in computational language modelling and generative AI. He will give a critical overview of the state-of-the-art for assessing PROs, and other health-related latent constructs, using natural language processing techniques. Dr. Roberts will discuss how incorporating PROMs into machine learning-based predictive models can improve model performance.
