We Are: Michael Philip O’Leary, MD, MPH

Dr. O’Leary is Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and Senior Surgeon, and Director of Men’s Health at Brigham Health. He was graduated from Harvard College and received his MD from George Washington Univ and MPH from Harvard. He completed his residency in urology at Mass General and was a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at U C San Francisco and Stanford. His clinical interests are in benign prostatic diseases and andrology. He is the author of 160 publications and current Editor for Urology Content at UpToDate. He is the developer of the AUA Symptom Score, The Interstitial Cystitis Symptom Score, The Brief Male Sexual Function Inventory, and the Chronic Prostatitis/ Chronic Pelvic Pain Symptom Index. He is currently funded by NIH/NIDDK to develop a PROM for underactive bladder.
