SEMINAR: Using Bookmarking Methods to Interpret Patient-Reported Outcome Measures

This talk will introduce bookmarking, a method for assigning descriptive labels to ranges of scores on patient-reported outcome measures.

Nan Rothrock, PhD is a professor in the Departments of Medical Social Sciences, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and Neurology in the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. She is a health outcomes researcher with expertise in patient-reported outcome (PRO) measure development and application. Her work focuses on the implementation of PROs in clinical care including identifying and addressing barriers to use, creation of score interpretation tools, application of digital technology, and ways to utilize PROs to evaluate healthcare quality.
